Scenario:
1. I have created custom search result page, by inserting search core result webpart, paging webpart...
2. For SearchText, I have created custom solution and redirecting URL to same page with parameter(k=searchtext).
3. I have customized XSL in Search Core result webpart for look and feel.
4. Configured Append text to query="abc", for default result to show.
Everything working as expected, except "No Result found" message missing when no result found on search. Search core result webpart area is blank.
My observation:
1. <!-- When empty result set is returned from search --> section is present in xsl with <xsl:template name="dvt_1.empty">.
2. Default search result page is showing empty result message as expected.
So, what should be the reason for not showing "No Result found" message?
Kindly share the greatly appreciated reason with solution.
