We have a SP site we use for job aids etc for our end users. We have set up several fields of metadata, including one that indicates the document status, and all the outward-facing pages are set to only display items with a status of "up to date". This works great, however if we use the Search field, the results include documents that match the search term but they include them regardless of the document status. So for example, items with status of "Archived", "Needs Updating" etc.
How can we make it so the search only returns items with the same restriction as the parent page, in this case, only those items with status of "up to date"?
