Approved Documents in Drafts Folder

Hi,

I have just started with a company. They use SharePoint CDMS document library. Having looked, there are documents in the DRAFTS LIBRARY that show the APPROVAL STATUS as approved. Why would these still be showing in the DRAFTS LIBRARY if they are approved? What is the process to have them removed out of the DRAFTS LIBRARY?
