Issue crawl https site

Hello,

I have an issue crawling an https web application with SharePoint 2010.

First trick is : I cannot use an http alternate access mapping because in this case, the crawler fails on SSRS reports (because in my configuration they require to be exposed on the default zone).

Second trick is : if I try one of the usual workaround, disable client certificates in IIS, I cut the access to part of my users using client certificates to authenticate to the site.

So I tried to set SharePoint to use a client certificate created for my service account used in crawl to authenticate during crawling but get http error 401 for all crawled items in my web application (though in the event viewer of the server, the certificate correctly logs on when crawl starts).

I've already ruled out all "usual suspects" (ensure service account has full read permissions on web application, disable loopback check, ensure there is a root site collection in my web application) and am running out of options.

If anyone has encountered a similar issue and managed to configure the crawler to index through the https AAM using a client certificate and can help, I would appreciate a lot.
